Hello Heart Partners! I hope this post finds you LOOKING forward into summer and planning some lovely enjoyment! I have been enjoying working in my garden, and watching everything BLOOM! I think many of us know this phrase, “Bloom where you are planted,” but as my nature is, I had to do some digging to see exactly where it came from! So, in the late 1500’s it originated from the Bishop of Geneva, Saint Francis de Sales, and later popularized by Mary Engelbreit. Discovering this helped me begin to dig in Yahuah’s word regarding HIS thoughts or image bearers of this idea, “Bloom where you are planted!” As I searched, the next thought came to my heart, “AND DON’T FORGET YOUR FOUNDATION!” So, let us take a walk in HIS word and see who we can find!

Let’s look at Acts 9:36-42 CEPHER…Okay, we need to know her real name as most of you will know her as DORCAS, but actually her name was TSEVIYAH! She was a woman of great works, including being a great seamstress! She used her gifts, talents, and resources to help people, and specifically the widows! So, we can all imagine the widow’s sadness when she fell ill and passed away. As you can read and discover the widows called for KEPHA or Peter as you may know. Interestingly, he vs.40 “…put (the garments) forth, kneeled down and prayed; and turning him to the body said, TSEVIYAH, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw KEPHA she sat up.” Well, this gal didn’t just use her gifts and “BLOOM WHERE SHE WAS PLANTED,” but her testimony now spread throughout Yapho and “many believed in ADONAI.” WOW!! What if you were a seamstress, died, came back to life and YOUR testimony MOVED many to BELIEVE ? I call that some serious BLOOMING!

Well, we might not all be TSEVIYAH (DORCAS) but we can start by looking at our own “gardens where we are planted!” Are we using our YAHUAH given gifts? Are we serving other’s needs? Reflection is the most important when looking at your BLOOMS! Just this week I was gifted with two videos of some precious children who are absolutely BLOOMING in the new garden they have been planted in! When their Mom shared, I was in tears celebrating their accomplishments and their true BLOOMS! That is the moment I thought…WOW these boys carried their FOUNDATION with them and as they were “transplanted,” they accessed their foundation, planted roots and BLOOMED! What an amazing testimony!

So, how important is it to remember your FOUNDATION? Truly, only you can answer that question, but if you want some encouragement from YAHUAH’S word let’s take a look! Psalm 11:3 Cepher “If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?” This could raise the question regarding what might happen if foundations are destroyed…A favorite of mine…Isaiah 33:6 “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of yeshu’ah: the fear of YAHUAH is his treasure.” This describes YAHUAH as a firm foundation! Finally, 2 Timothy 2:19 “Nevertheless the foundation of ELOHIYM stands sure, having this seal, YAHUAH knows them that are his. And let everyone that names the name of MASHIACH depart from iniquity.”

Well, I believe YAHUAH desires for us to stand firm, remember our foundations, and wherever HE leads and we land, we are to BLOOM! I am committed to BLOOMING, and absolutely sticking to HIS FIRM FOUNDATIONS! Even on my “not so greatest of days,” I choose to see even the slightest of bloom as HIS VICTORY! How about you? Are you BLOOMING? If not, HE understands and will guide as YOU seek HIM! No matter what, never give up!

KNOW I am cheering for YOU, I understand when we are stuck and the BLOOMS aren’t happening, but try to hold onto each GIFT HE has given you and ask YAHUAH to help you activate in HIS TIMING!

BLOOMS are coming! PRAYING and LOVING each of you!

SHALOM,

DanaKae
