Hello Heart Partners!! As most of you know, I am still on my healing journey with a broken radius, and three breaks in the tibial plateau on my left leg! Well, I am 7 weeks in, and 3 more staying off of the leg! Tuesday I was able to get my arm cast off, as the bone was completely new and sealed! It was awesome to see the x-ray as it’s blind trust in our Father, believing He was knitting it together! I stop, and give YAHUAH all the praise and glory! Now it’s onward to recover movement of my dominant arm, and to sit still while the leg completes its’ bone healing!
I have been meditating on a passage of scripture that has really moved my heart to think new thoughts! Isaiah 52:7 (Tree of Life) “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces SHALOM, who brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” WOW! I began to seek our Father about all the ways my “feet” could be a messenger and spread HIS encouragement and good news even while not being able to walk? Just this week HE began showing me the privilege of being HIS hands, feet, and MOUTHPIECE! Ah-Ha…just because my left hand isn’t working quite yet, or currently I cannot walk…this is the time to focus on ALL of HIS gifts! Huge light bulb shined into the darkest and saddest corners of my heart! Isn’t that just like our Faithful Father? My heart skips a beat…and I sit as HE illuminates!
I love when YAHUAH is speaking to Moses in Exodus 4:12 “Now go! I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say.” This passage sat in my heart and I pondered GO! How can I GO when I have to stay still? Then it hit me…albeit slowly at my current state, I can text, talk, or type to be an encouragement to others no matter what they are going through ! What or who made me think I couldn’t do anything without my dominant hand and leg? Well, quite resoundingly the RUACH HaKodesh reminded me…John 10:10 Yahusha’s words, “The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly!” OH…I start to get it…the enemy has been trying to discourage me, and make me think that if I can’t walk I am sidelined. WRONG! You see even when our intelligent minds KNOW this is a lie…we can succumb to it, and fall for the trickery that we are “out of the game” if you will! As soon as I noted the lie using HIS word…new revelations began to shine through releasing HIS other gifts! I am beyond grateful!
SO…how are you “walking” sharing HIS grace, mercy, and deep love to others? If you, like me are stuck in a healing season of any kind…turn to HIS word and seek HIM on how He can use you to help shoulder the burden of another! Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the Torah of Messiah” John 13:34 YAHUSHA speaking, “I give you a new commandment, that you love another. Just as I have loved you, so you also must love one another.” 35 “By this all will know that you are MY disciples, if you have love for one another.” His word sealed the deal once again for me and now I am “walking” sharing, supporting, and encouraging in all ways I can! HIS love wins!
Now, as I sit and continue my healing journey, and exercising my hand to regain strength…I have a whole new perspective on how our FEET can be messengers of HIS good news! WOW! I am grateful, and my heart is set on mission!
