Hello Heart Partners!  I trust each of you had a wonderful HOLIDAY!!  It is so rejuvenating to slow down, pause, and reflect on why we CELEBRATE at this time of year!!  For me…I am continuously reassured that I will one day see my LOVED ONES again…and I always dream about what they are doing in heaven as we do a variety of celebrations here on earth!  Some folks question the whole idea of “gift giving,” but for me…YAHUAH chose to send HIS SON into the world for US…THE GREATEST GIFT…so when we share or exchange “gifts,” I always think of unwrapping HIS GREATEST GIFT…and how now HE is with us and in us…EMMANUEL…so now we get a chance to SHARE HIS LOVE GIFT with others!

Now, what about this whole idea of a “WORD” for our NEW YEAR?  As most of you know…I love words and reading!  Several years ago I began asking YAHUAH for a word for the coming new year…a word to guide me, inspire me, anchor me, but most of all to plant a sign-post in my HEART and MIND that I will look for, be grateful for, and honor YAHUAH in my daily walk!  In the past, I have noticed that life gets clearer, and my vision and focus sharpen as I concentrate on my “word for the year!”  What do you think?  Is this a spiritual practice for any of you?  Or maybe you have done it, but have not honed it as a growth or spiritual practice…Let’s see what HIS word says…I love Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it.”  So…I pause and let my ears hear, and my heart sink my 2026 word down into the deep waters…I am then met with another word from YAHUAH…Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”  Time to pause again, and seek HIS wisdom…I ask, what word is for me in 2026 that could anchor my soul after a rough 2025, and also be edifying to others when I share or encourage?

I draw a very deep breath…I look up, and I finally hear my word…EXPECTANT!  I smile, and nod in agreement…JUST what I needed…My whole heart wants to be EXPECTANT in all circumstances, KNOWING my FATHER is always in control, and nothing that is happening is for NAUGHT…HE has HIS PLANS and HIS REASONS for everything…and HE IS GOOD…I can live expectantly for HIS GOOD in every situation and season!  I whisper…YES FATHER…SO BE IT!

I ask for this word to serve others as it serves me!  I encourage each of you to seek our FATHER for YOUR WORD…and be EXPECTANT, as HE will answer!  Remember, HE IS WITH YOU, and only desires HIS BEST for YOU!

SENDING SO MUCH LOVE and prayers for each of you to SEEK HIM, as YOU will find HIM and HEAR HIM!  Keep your eyes wide open and look, listen, and pause as HE knows YOUR HEART’S DESIRES!
