HELLO Heart Partners! A very HAPPY December to each of you! As we enter the ADVENT season, I wanted to share a few thoughts to hopefully help each of us stay focused on the whole reason we have HOPE! I was just reading about the roots of the word ADVENT; in the Latin verb “adventio,” which means—“I am coming, I arrive.” I love Ann Voskamp’s quote…”We only arrive when we keep coming to Jesus.” I could not agree more…as we must make our lives intentional as we CHOOSE to keep turning to YAHUSHA will every single need, or desire we have…Big or Small! I am immediately reminded of YAHUSHA’s words in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

As we begin Advent, I pause daily to read, reflect, and refresh my SOUL…and this week it’s all about HOPE! Funny topic for me…as over the past 2.6 months I wavered in hopefulness…but here I am in the very week of HOPE…seeing YAHUAH’S faithfulness to so many prayers prayed by many, and holding me tightly, to finally reveal that now my fractures are all healed and sealed! Now it’s time to walk again…and get my strength and gait back! I would never be able to share how much YAHUAH has poured into me during this “down time” but I can share HIS encouragement if you are in a “waiting” season! One specific verse I focused on was Proverbs 24:14 “Likewise know that wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, there will be a future, and your HOPE will not be cut off! As I sat and healed, I SOUGHT HIM and searched for WISDOM…not of this world…JUST HIS! As I did, my HOPE grew daily…HE REMINDED me that HE still has great plans for me, and my JOB is to WAIT on HIM…Well, since I couldn’t do anything else, the waiting was possibly easier than what you are facing…No matter what you are seeking from YAHUSHA…it is imperative to remember…and hold onto…Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says YAHUAH. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts!” For me I needed HIS words bound to my heart, as daily I wanted to make my own plans…even though in my decades of life I KNOW BETTER!

I may not know exactly what YOU are HOPING for, but I know more than ever to WAIT on HIM! We often think HE is too busy, or is too slow…late even…BUT this is not true, and since YAHUAH knew we would struggle HE reminds us…Psalm 27:14 “Wait on El-YAHUAH: be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen your heart: WAIT, I say on El-YAHUAH!” But, are you struggling about HIS delay, lateness, or whatever you are “feeling?” I have been there a lot in my life…I am not judging anyone’s process, but more so trying to encourage you to HOLD HOPE and WAIT on HIM! None of us get it perfectly, but we can share our stories to LIFT one another up on HIS journey! When my pup TEDDY was growing I thought about getting him a sibling…and I searched but was turned down at shelters, and adoption organizations…so I gave up, but little did I know in just a couple months my Sister would go to heaven suddenly and her 1 yr old pup (same breed as Ted) needed a home! Pick me!!! And her lovely daughters offered, and I received Benny with open heart and arms! I hedge at thinking about the trouble I could have created for myself!! Whew..YAHUAH didn’t let it happen! We are so super blessed with BENNY and TEDDY!

I AM SUPER TEDDY!
I am Benny, and I love warm blankets, long walks, and lots of scratches!
We are BEST BROTHERS!

If I have learned nothing else in my life…I have learned that YAHUAH really does have a PLAN at every age and stage of our lives! So, don’t worry if HE has had to re-route you many times…HE sure has me! Instead, let’s choose to walk in HOPE and perseverance in HIM! YAHUAH will never let us down!

Sending so much LOVE and HOPE for all of your NEEDS, and heart’s desires! MAY HIS HOPE FILL YOUR HEARTS, AND MINDS TODAY AND ALWAYS!

Shalom,
