IS IT TIME FOR A RESET?

HELLO HEART PARTNERS! I hope this post finds you all well and gearing up for SUMMER FUN!! Before we jump into “summer plans,” maybe it’s time to slow down and seek a RESET with our FATHER! Let‘s begin with HIS word! Psalm 23 The Message “God my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life!” Do you relate to this verse…or is line one difficult to BELIEVE? Do you “not need a thing?” If you are shouting YES…I am in that place… I totally GET YOU… but let’s soak in HIS WORD and see if we can RESET!

My first thought comes rushing into my mind like a raging spring river, filled to the brim with snow melt! You know those rivers you long to get into it’s flow and float away? Or you can see the danger right away and you pause knowing this isn’t the time to jump in? PAUSE…see right there HE IS LEADING US…we have those immediate question marks that cause us to KNOW! I have many verses you can soak in… and I am sure you probably recall most of them…but these help me the most…Isaiah 30:21 Tree of Life “Your ears will hear a word behind you saying: “This is the way, walk in it. When you turn to the right, or when you turn to the left.” Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will give counsel—My eye is on you.” WOW!!! Can you perceive HIS presence? If HIS word is true…DO WE HAVE WHAT WE NEED? I BELIEVE SO…Matthew 6:8 “Do not be like them, for your FATHER knows what you need before you ask Him.”. Of course our SOVEREIGN FATHER knows exactly what we need, and he is never early nor late! As I type this my RESET is beginning again…Below is a wonderful guided video by Staci Eldridge from Wild at Heart/Captivating…if you have 30 minutes pause here and draw close to Yahusha, so your reset is grounded in HIM!

Some of you may ask…”Why a RESET?” Well, I am deeply aware of our propensity for getting out of alignment with our Father! We get busy, doing all that we BELEIVE is good, helpful, and approved by YAHUAH…but heart friends…are we ABIDING in HIM…is the flow of the vine reaching us (the branches) or has our busyness blocked HIS flow? I can hear you in my mind now…but, “I am doing all good things!” I get it…but how is your intimacy with YAHUAH? Is your BESTIE being cared for? I have gleaned after decades of living with YAHUAH as my everything that is very easy to take HIM for granted, so a DIVINE RESET can be necessary, and totally life restoring! I highly recommend reading John 15 for a refresher on ABIDING…and then hold onto John 15:7 “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.” We must know and sink HIS word deep into our hearts, so when we need a RESET we are ready to recall HIS instructions…and embark on HIS RESET!
