As my NEW ADVENTURE continues, messages are coming in as SPRING TIME “blossoms” all around me! I don’t know about you, but God’s amazing creatures have never ceased to amaze me, and true to my entire life, the American Robin has arrived just in time to speak HIS TRUTH in a season of great need and desire for me! Tune in and listen for HIS wisdom through its’ beauty, behaviors, songs, and little bit of sass!
As my family and I were hiking the other day, we began to see the arrival of the American Robin, which are larger in size, sporting more of an orange breast, and a vibrant yellow beak! Now, depending on their “SASS” in the moment, they often appear with a very HOPE-filled message! On this particular hike in gorgeous Jacksonville, Oregon…I was struggling with pain still from the cray cray fall from the week plus before in the creek! Well, as I was hiking looking at all of the WILDFLOWERS and enjoying God’s BEAUTIFUL Springtime, I noticed an American Robin off in the distance. I stopped to chat with it, and just as I expected, God had MORE for me…. The Robin just sat on the ground “listening,” but looking side to side! I slowed down to ask God what HE was trying to say to me…when all of a sudden I heard, God’s word springing forth from my heart regarding NOT turning to the LEFT or to the RIGHT…it is in these moments we have a choice to STOP and SEEK or just take what we have received and move on! I have learned to STOP and SEEK, so that is what I did. BIG and GREAT reward as God encouraged me with Deuteronomy 28:1-14 (Blessings for Obedience) ending with verse 14 “Do not turn aside to the right or to the left from all the things I am commanding you today, and do not go after other gods to worship them.”
OK..I see it now…cease the questioning, and cease turning to the left and right! KEEP MY EYES FOCUSED ON JESUS!
So, onward I went, thinking about what God was saying, and listening to the entire chapter, as CONTEXT is everything when GOD is speaking! Then, I was urged to SEEK what the AMERICAN ROBIN symbolizes! HMMMM…I thought, always with YESHUA there is MORE! Well, of course! The American Robin speaks of renewal, hope, but for me at this place in my life it has arrived to speak NEW BEGINNINGS, as a NEW CHAPTER of my LIFE and CAREER are opening to a BRAND NEW DAY! I am leaving a wonderful but old life behind, waving GOOD BYE to it, thanking YESHUA for it, and shaking the dust off of my feet, and maybe even doing a little “happy dance!” You may ask “Why?” Well, at my VINTAGE one does not always expect such RENEWAL of HOPE FILLED DAYS…yet with GOD NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE! HE is revealing that to me daily even in my struggles! For those of you who know me well, YOU also know I want to see that AMERICAN ROBIN faced forward, confident, smiling at me… NO WORRIES! GOD DELIVERED!
Right here as I walked my amazing dogs in my NEW NEIGHBORHOOD…but this time YESHUA spoke a NEW MESSAGE…ARE YOU READY?
SEE MY Vibrant beak?? PLEASE use your words wisely, check in with Holy Spirit, and SPEAK LIFE to all!! WOW!! I heard YESHUA loud and clear! SO VERY GRATEFUL for HIS creatures!
Now, one would think that is enough for now??? NOPE!!! GOD has MORE!!! As I rounded the corner that evening with my pups…LOOK who appeared….
That’s right SUN was setting so his or her chest was LIT UP!!! A gorgeous MOURNING DOVE! “SEEK MY PEACE and PURSUE it with ALL of YOUR HEART!” I knew those heart words as those are my FATHER GOD’s words…but do they belong to the MOURNING DOVE? A RESOUNDING YES! The MOURNING DOVE encourages us to seek peace, offer reconciliation to others even if they will decline it, pray for them, and stay in HIS PEACE, cultivate a heart that is free from turmoil, and LIVE FREE in YESHUA! I LOOKED UP, and said, YES LORD!
I pray each of you are encourage to LOOK and LISTEN to GOD through HIS creatures great and small! HE is always speaking to us! I send LOVE, PEACE, GRACE, and MERCY, to each of YOUR AMAZING HEARTS!
