Frustration can be the beginning of all meaningful change, and can lead you to seek YESHUA for HIS next right steps for your current season! I say “current season” as GOD is always working with and for us to move, live, and love as HIS disciples! Since God does not lie, we know and can choose to TRUST HIS WAYS are HIGHER and BETTER than our ways! BUT…lets look at why we have such a difficult time allowing our FRUSTRATIONS to teach us…

First and foremost most of us don’t enjoy being frustrated…and because of that we often LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING of situations or seasons! Now again, we are reminded in GOD’s WORD; Proverbs 3:5-12 “Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of people. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor God with everything you own; give Him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline; don’t sulk under His loving correction. It’s the child He loves that God corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this.” (The Message). Oftentimes it’s best to expand the passage, and in this case SUPER HELPFUL! Unfortunately, waiting can be very frustrating for us mere humans as we “think” we know better, or maybe if we go out and do something good for God, He might answer our prayers more quickly and favorably…BUT GOD! Well, that is my truth…BUT GOD!

I live and breathe in the GO, GO, GO, category, so causing my life to come to a complete HAULT…oh big dear for me! Well, here I am…seeking YESHUA, and listening continuously for Holy Spirit’s guidance. But “BE STILL” really…good thing I have this new house to work on as I fill its walls with worship music, scripture songs (Sherri Youngward) a favorite, and PRAISE! If I know one thing for sure, Acts 16:25-34 reminds us that PRAISE IS OUR BREAKTHROUGH as we read about Paul and Silas singing their way out of prison! So, what next you might ask? I don’t know, but I did my “next right thing” Emily P. Freeman (in love and grace). I joined the summer book club at church, which most of you know how much I love books…I signed up for SERVE DAY…Anyway you will never believe it…but our new church (JOY) is focusing on…”THERE IS MORE” so we are reading and studying the book of ACTS…and our club is reading The Holy Spirit by John Bevere! Hmmm do you think MAYBE GOD’s WAYS are BETTER? Oh it gets even more juicy…I end up LOVING the BOOK CLUB (already read that book years ago) but no worries, great book, great fellowship cannot ask for more…until…

Sunday rolls around, and guess what? Pastor Natalie is teaching on HOLY SPIRIT!!! GREAT and powerful message, I encourage you to listen in…lean in, and cease leaning on your own understanding…COME JOIN ME IN THE WAITING ROOM OF GOD’S OMNIPOTENT PRESENCE !!! While you are here you just may realize it can be FUN, and QUITE ENLIGHTENING! Anyway, I would love your company 🙂
