Hello Heart Partners!! Here we are getting ready to enter our traditional week of LOVE or VALENTINES!!! I hope you all experience the BEST LOVE forever and always…YES the love of YAHUAH! And for those of you who are BLESSED with a VALENTINE or special person in your life…I hope this post can help you experience fulfilling LOVE as you walk with Yahusha and serve HIM, as you LOVE others! Let’s begin with John 15:12-13 CEPHER “This is my commandment: That ye love on another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” I am so grateful for HIS word as to LOVE is HIS commandment, so it makes life so much easier and enjoyable! Who isn’t able to LOVE? Awe…a great question don’t you think? What holds you back from showing love, giving love freely, and in the midst of being uncomfortable, demonstrating love to a stranger? Some of us show love easier than others, and some actually work harder at being unlovely…but WHY? Let’s take a peek in HIS word…First issue to pop up is FEAR…Urgh…yes I know this one well…In 1 John 4:18 CEPHER “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.” I take a long pause…and consider the depth of meaning in these words…as I know I have experienced a magnitude of fear in many people and situations that I have dearly loved…So I take a look at Psalms 111:10 CEPHER “The fear of YAHAUH is the beginning of wisdom, a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures forever.”
Pauses are a necessity for me while I sort out fear, love, and the whys behind them…and just when I think…I cannot make sense of it all a rescue comes…”While I Wait” by Lincoln Brewster & Integrity’s Hosanna starts to play…Do I really trust Yahusha to put me back together, to show me the way to LOVE BIG as this is my whole heart, and to not be afraid? I do TRUST, but my faith wavers…I cry…I do believe and I know HE is faithful always, and I know HIS promises to never leave me nor forsake me…but how do I move again in a space of YAHUAH LOVE when I hurt, and cannot see the light? And then Lincoln says it…”I know you’ve won, I know you’ve overcome…DO I THOUGH? AHHHHH! I can see every scar …and I keep hearing live by faith not by sight…While I wait I will worship…and truly even though I don’t understand it all, I choose to worship with my pain…can you relate? We all have pain of different varieties, and when we can begin to identify it we will see what is BLOCKING us from LOVING freely as we are commanded to do…we really may not have or ever have all of the answers, but WE CAN TRUST OUR FATHER! Even as I am re-learning how to walk my most precious dogs without FEAR…my son-in-law says…watch and listen to TEDDY closely…I do…and I hear my little pup’s GREAT FEAR! I ask…is it me? Does he feel unsafe because I was attacked twice and we almost lost his life? And round two, I was broken and their lives turned upside down? Slow and steady without emotion he says NO…its not your fault…You see Teddy came with great fear, due to the breeding…and I have completely forgotten even though I was the one who researched it long ago… BIG BREATHS…with all my being I want to hand him the leash…but I hold fast…his words steady me as if I am on a tightrope…”I am proud of you!” Very calmly I hear his words…our feet keep pace with one another, but I am breathing hard, when suddenly I am engulfed with the belief, steadfastness, and love of another…and I focus on how much I love these boys, and keep walking! LOVE WINS!
I can see in their gait that they are happy and trusting me completely! LOVE WINS!
As we sit and enjoy dinner in the evening…a DOVE appears at our water station where all of our amazing birds feed…but never a DOVE…Hmmm I wonder what she is up too? I reflect on all that I know about DOVES as messengers of LOVE, PEACE, and NEW BEGINNINGS…Could she be talking to me? Will I LOVE BIG again…without FEAR? Or is she simply thirsty?
Here she is…so beautiful! She has now visited twice this week…and I keep pondering!
Let’s take a look at YAHUAH’S heart for DOVES…Matthew 3:16-17 CEPHER “And YAHUSHA, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Ruach Elohiym descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying This is my yachiyd,(beloved child) in whom I am well pleased.” WOW…our FATHER used HIS amazing creation…the DOVE! I thumb backward to Genesis 8:10-11 Tree of Life (This is Noah on the ark in the midst of the flood) “So he waited yet another seven days and again he sent the dove out from the ark. The dove came to him at evening, and surprisingly——a freshly plucked olive leaf was in its mouth. So Noah knew that the waters had receded from the land.” OH HOW VERY FAITHFUL OUR FATHER is, and always has been! And there it is, in HIS living word…NEW BEGINNINGS, HOPE, and HIS MESSENGER….(If you have a chance, revisit the whole passage on the ark…truly you will see our FATHER in actions of LOVE! I choose to relish the messages of my beautiful DOVE, and hold fast to HIS word, and every ounce of FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE in it!
As my late husband moved to heaven…he said, “Don’t forget to love again!” Words I hold in my heart as he knew that I could become afraid…So even as I get ready to close my LOVE and DOVE writing…I stop and remember him and his very loving words…and I think about what VALENTINE would he enjoy in heaven…I BELEIVE it would be to see me and our daughter living out YAHUAH’S command to LOVE LOVE LOVE no matter what is going on around us! So, we will remember his tender words to me, and I will choose to WAIT on our FAITHFUL FATHER, and praise HIM always no matter what! So, how about you? Ready to LOVE at our FATHER’S command? We are created in HIS image, so let’s give it a go! Whatever LOVE you are looking for at VALENTINE’S remember we have the BEST LOVE EVER…YAHUAH’S LOVE!
I recently heard a song from a dear friend…another amazing writing put to music…this time it’s from someone dear to her…The song is called, “30,000 Steps in the Cold.” At first listen I didn’t hear ALL I needed too…after pondering and listening too many times to count…I get the messages for ME…I hear my loving FATHER that he will walk with me no matter what…my tendency to questions, deep thoughts, big words, won’t push HIM away…and no matter how far HE has to go with me, HE will help me LOVE BIG and not fear ever again…while I wait, I will keep giving with my whole heart of HIS LOVE! And, I will allow HIS LOVE to engulf me, so there is no denying…as I will feel it TOTALLY AGAIN! I hope you are inspired and enjoy!
