Hello Heart Partners! I hope all is going well with your summer, life, and overall journey…but if not you might want to grab a cool drink and read onward…We all NEED some REFRESHERS and RESCUES sometimes, and often when we LEAST EXPECT THEM which can make life a little tricky, especially for emotional folks who would like to find some CREATIVE and less painful solutions! HMMM…are you thinking “QUICK ESCAPE” right about now?? Well, you are in good company…LET’S GO!

Okay maybe not…instead let’s dive deeper into REFRESHERS! Do you ever feel like GOD has you on a REFRESHER course long term? For instance, “When will this be over so I can get back to a “real” life?” For sure that is me right about NOW…these past few months, but maybe if I am completely honest year…GOD has been doing a lot of “REFRESHING” of my thoughts, actions, and heart life. Did you know that YESHUA LOVES to REFRESH US? Take a look at Acts 3:19-20 “Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased; so that times of REFRESHING may come from the Lord’s presence; and he may send the Messiah appointed in advance for you, that is YESHUA.” So check this out, REFRESHING here in the GREEK is the verb ANAPSEUCHO which broken down means: ANA = “again” and PSEUCHO is from the GREEK noun meaning “soul.” Thus when we put it together we receive true REFRESHING…”to breathe again and again, or to revive the soul.” WOW, now that’s an offer I cannot refuse…PLEASE REFRESH ME, YESHUA! Sometimes we get hung up in the repenting stage, but here’s my truth…As YESHUA has pulled me out of busyness and brought me home for a season, I can hear HIM more clearly in areas of my life I had thought were worked out…but NO…I need to repent and chat it out with my BEST FRIEND YESHUA and get to the bottom of truly turning and going NORTH! OH dear if you missed that post you might want to revisit it! That’s really the truth of it all, HE has had to get my full and “FRUSTRATED” attention so HE can actually REFRESH, RESCUE, and REVIVE my SOUL! WHOA…that’s BIG NEWS to me…how about YOU? Is GOD sending YOU messages that YOU see as NOT SO GREAT…but because HE IS GOOD of course HIS PLANS are way better…and HE DESIRES to REFRESH YOU? Maybe take time with HIM right now, and see what HE has to say…and don’t be afraid if HE uses the word REPENT!

So, on this GRAND ADVENTURE of mine, I do long to be REFRESHED and RESCUED as I seem to get myself in some gnarly predicaments…those of you who know me well…you can simply say GONG! Last week I tried a couple of new groups/activities and OH MAN the first one was not a match for me, the second one almost went south…but in came the RESCUER because I was actually going north with YESHUA and trusting HIM! Anyway I was serving at “SERVE DAY” and had no clue what my job would be…when all of a sudden my friend and I were given the job to organize a mysterious closet! GUESS what…it was the BEST DAY EVER…we got to organize BOOKS for children…YEP, brand new books for all ages that this agency gives to each child that arrives! But how?? If they are all boxed in the “closet of mystery?” Well, we got busy, and OHHHH did I love handing HUNDREDS of children’s books, categorizing, shelving, and making sure each child and staff could pick just the right one of interest, development, etc! OH a dream come true…4 hours later SUCCESS! Now, I get excited thinking about adults and children not getting frustrated, and a NEW BOOK finding the perfect match!!! SO REFRESHING and SO LIFE-GIVING!

Now you can imagine on Sunday I attend JOY church…and what is the message about? YES INDEED…REFRESHERS on very specific to WHO YESHUA is for ME and YOU!! It’s interesting as often we don’t think REFRESHERS will do much for us, as we say…”I already know this”…until we TRULY NEED a RESCUE! That’s right I believe you are putting this posting together by now…Without REFRESHERS how will we BREATHE AGAIN…how will OUR SOULS BE REVIVED? Whether you have been following YESHUA for a short time or a very long time…we ALL NEED to be REFRESHED and REMINDED to REPENT of our little, medium and SUPER SIZED GONGS…it brings us back into that CLOSE INTIMACY with GOD, YESHUA, and HOLY SPIRIT and allows the RESCUE! OH I am so very grateful for the word of GOD and HIS messengers to deliver in LOVE, GRACE, and MERCY!! I believe we all could use more of those!
