Hello Heart Partners!! I hope and pray you all are in PROCESSING with YESHUA MODE!!! REMEMBER, when it seems as though the HEAT is being turned up in your life…best course of action is to PRESS INTO YESHUA, and turn on your LISTENING EARS! For those of you PROCESSING and EXPERIENCING PAIN, I do not cease praying for you, knowing that our FATHER hears our PRAYERS and is answering even in this moment! Today, I want to “off road” it a bit into an UNEXPECTED SURPRISE, in the midst of “just needing to take care of things!”
OKAY…let’s go rogue for a bit! I knew when our FATHER led us to SOUTHERN OREGON, that I would need to think about another vehicle for this grand adventure of ours, as we will now live, love, and enjoy 4 seasons! Most of you know I have been driving a little “ETERNAL BLUE” since my husband changed addresses to HEAVEN! Well, it made it through Summer here, but not the car one needs to navigate ice and snow! So, my next adventure began as I looked at more appropriate vehicles for my new location…now keep in mind I had a “DREAM VEHICLE” in my heart for the past couple of years…but could not imagine it ever happening! So, what to do?? GO TO MY FATHER and seek HIM and HIS provision and guidance! Psalm 23 is a close to heart favorite…as one thing I have learned to be TRUE…”ADONAI is my shepherd; I LACK NOTHING…” (Complete Jewish Bible) In my heart of hearts I knew that my FATHER would guide me, even as I was stuck believing that I had to choose a different brand, that I did not deserve my “dream” vehicle, that it just wasn’t right…UNTIL, YESHUA led me to, “GO TAKE A LOOK!” On this day my daughter was able to go with me, test drive, and sit and pray me through to see what I could get for my trade-in, and my sister sat in another state looking up numbers, comparing, and all the while supporting me to stay strong! You see…OUR FATHER was doing way more behind the scenes, as another LAYER OF INTENSE HEALING was getting ready to happen! YESHUA gave us ALL BELIEVERS to help us, and not just followers of YESHUA, but BOLD and outspoken BELIEVERS about their “LORD and SAVIOR!” The gal helping me with the purchase was nothing short of, “ANGELIC,” as she saw her husband off to heaven 2 years ago, but she was still on her mission as she coached me how to get the MOST for my car! And, the salesman that took us for our TEST DRIVING, spoke outright that he “SERVES THE LORD ONLY!” He reassured my daughter and me that we did not need to fear as, “HE WORKS FOR JESUS!” So, the process continued, and my emotions went for a ROGUE RIDE on a WILD ROLLERCOASTER! In a final negotiation, our salesman told us he was praying…and he walked around our prospective vehicle an prayed…and in minutes the general manager returned giving me the perfect trade-in value for my “ETERNAL BLUE!” You see I was not only getting an appropriate vehicle for this new adventure, I was also saying GOOD-BYE to a FAVORITE Little “SCOOT” that will always hold phenomenal memories of my husband! In November my husband will have been with YESHUA for 8 years…and guess what…BIBLICALLY 8 is a NEW BEGINNING! In my final emotional war, my daughter took my hands and said, “MOM YOU DESERVE THIS NEW BEGINNING, I WANT THIS FOR YOU!” With her hands in mine, and mine in hers, my heart quaked…but I was ready! My phone buzzed again, and my sister said, “IT’s a GREAT DEAL” I have dearly loved Psalm 144 (the entire passage in THE MESSAGE) but yesterday I recalled, “vs.3-4 I wonder why you care, GOD—why do you bother with us at all? All we are is a puff of air; we’re like shadows in a campfire. vs.5-6 “Step down out of heaven, God; ignite volcanoes in the hearts of the mountains. Hurl your lightnings in every direction; shoot your arrows this way and that…(I encourage you to read the entire passage) In these tough MOMENTS YESHUA shows me HOW HE is willing to STEP DOWN FROM HEAVEN to answer our cries! I have held onto this PSALM for many many years, and I have seen YESHUA STEP DOWN FROM HEAVEN FOR SOOOO MANY!
Little did I know, HE was stepping down for me, but not just for PROVISION, but also for deep HEALING! As I wrote a few weeks ago, our FATHER is NOT a PAST DWELLER…so HE has taught me that when it’s time to move forward it’s HIS TIMING I must follow! So, here I am in tears, with a heart filled with EXCITEMENT, praising our FATHER for HIS UNEXPECTED SURPRISES! The vehicle of my dreams had just arrived in the exact color I have desired the day before! We had NO idea when we embarked on the adventure to TEST DRIVE that it was there, unwrapped, sitting on the back lot! WOW…a miracle? YES…every step, every engagement, my daughter, my sister…ALL of the details HE ORCHESTRATED!
As I said, “GOOD-BYE” to ETERNAL BLUE, I said, hello to my NEW ADVENTURE, MY NEW BEGINNING, and as our salesperson said, “THIS IS YOUR NEW FREEDOM!” My heart felt like a weight had been lifted, but what was the weight? ADONAI KNEW…It was time for me to say good-bye to my past…to be grateful for the PROVISION of ETERNAL BLUE, and now embrace my future with HIS HEALING AND HIS GRAND HELLO! Two favorite verses pop up in my heart…Psalm 103:12-13 “He has removed our sins from us, as far as the east is from the west. Just as a FATHER has compassion on HIS children, Adonai has compassion on those who fear HIM!” Isaiah 43:18-19 “Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up—can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland.” In this moment I knew that I knew that I knew…MY FATHER was peeling off another layer of my past that HE did not desire to be with me any LONGER!!! WOW! I am beyond grateful…and YESHUA KNOWS IT!!
THIS HAS BEEN A WEEK OF UNEXPECTED SURPRISES…some that are still in the works as we WAIT AND TRUST, PRESSING INTO HIM, and others that I had to surrender too for HIS DEEP HEALING, and then HIS GREAT BLESSING OF PROVISION! ALL GLORY and HONOR to OUR FATHER!
I pray this story encourages you to face your fears, trust OUR FATHER, and walk forward WITH YESHUA! I am CHEERING YOU ONWARD in LOVE, PRAYER, and FAITH!
