HELLO HEART PARTNERS!!! Here’s to HOPING YOU are all processing with Holy Spirit, and growing in your following of HIS guidance! SOOO…a million or billion dollar question today…”What Brings You JOY?” Here is a favorite passage of mine from God’s word…John 15:10-11Amplified Bible “If you keep my commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My JOY and DELIGHT may be in you, and that your JOY may be made full and complete and overflowing.” OKAY…you might say…but get a cool drink, or nice cup of coffee or tea, and sit with it for a few minutes!

You see, YESHUA desires JOY and DELIGHT for us…just like in John 10:10 Tree of Life “The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I (YESHUA) have come that they might have LIFE, and have it ABUNDANTLY!” Ah-HA. This is YESHUA’S desire for us…remaining in His love, having His JOY and DELIGHT, and living an ABUNDANT LIFE! Truly, we must always read the context around all of scripture, but many of you already know these…but do we LIVE this way? Are YOU JOYFUL, and DELIGHTING in the life YOU are LIVING in HIS abundance?? Well, your current answer might be an IMMEDIATE NO, or DK you are CRAY CRAY…Well, I can be but NOT THIS TIME! YESHUA is teaching us, leading us, and fighting for us at ALL TIMES…and it is our simple CHOICE to actually follow Him into HIS desires for us!! As I have been studying JOY, and funny enough I attend JOY CHURCH…I can see more and more it is totally about who, what, and where we have placed our individual alignments that have had NOTHING to do with GOD!!! Oh we take a verse here and there to make us feel “spiritual,” or that we are ATTENDING to HIS word, but if we are honest…it’s a RESOUNDING NOT!!! THIS GOES FOR ME TOO! Unfortunately many of us have sat under mis-guided teachings thinking YESHUA will give us whatever we “DESIRE,” but if GOD is GOD and HE is a GOOD FATHER, why would we have ever believed that YESHUA would be our “GENIE in a bottle?” GOOD and GREAT FATHER’S disciple their children, and help them understand that there is more to life than their WANTS!!! OUR FATHER adores us so much HE sent HIS one and ONLY SON to earth to DIE for US and all we do that is not so great…once and for all! NOW that FACT should bring our ULTIMATE JOY!!! BUT NO…it hardly ever does unless we experience disappointments, sin, adversity, suffering etc…then all of a sudden we find ourselves so incredibly grateful for GOD, YESHUA, and HOLY SPIRIT! As you all know, I am happy to use my life and experiences as a model to help you see yourself in NEW WAYS with the EYES of GOD!!! SO here goes…

This week, well actually almost 3 weeks I have struggled for my very breath…I did all I know to do HIS way, but my lungs would not clear…I prayed and prayed about not being able to be JOYFUL without air, and God answered! I got in alignment with HIM, and I quickly learned that FOREST FIRES and where I live and how the air can sit in the valley, will cause ME harm! I have never truly studied the particles that are carried in the air and how it can hurt someone like me with Asthma!! I knew I should stay inside when the air was so bad, but I didn’t listen…until HOLY SPIRIT prompted me to research, and then told me that I am helping NOBODY if I cannot breathe! AH-HA again…so long story short I have an ANGEL as a PHYSICIAN, and she knew what antibiotic to assist me with and I will tell YOU by re-aligning myself with GOD’S word, and now taking the medication (which is not my go to) I will make provisions for myself next summer if the fires happen! Once I started to breathe again…GOD began showing me in HIS word how He desires JOY for me! So, I pressed in…and as I created fun facts for a favorite school in Singapore :), began receiving JOYFUL pics of many kids in my life, receiving JOY-FILLED texts of how “summer camp” went, and how the NEW SCHOO YEAR is going…JOY FLOODED my heart, mind, and soul! I sat with HIM one day this week as I destroyed VERY OLD TAPES(don’t ask it was way too many) I placed myself on a stool hammering and pulling reels of tape to PROFOUNDLY discover how much HEALING HE was doing in me through LACK OF AIR! HERE is His truth…until we slow down and ALIGN ourselves with HIM…JOY is not going to be authentic, and eternally lasting! Sure, we can make our outward appearance LOOK JOYFUL, but as my daughter would ask, “ARE YOU REALLY THOUGH?” A favorite quote from her can often do the trick!!

Okay, again some of you might say that HE put specific DESIRES in your heart, and therefore will grant them…WELL…you might want to read the entire passages!! HE is not a GENIE!!! And we are human and HE gave us FREE WILL, so we can make up these things through longings, dreaming, fantasizing etc…I am not trying to SQELCH your HOPES and DREAMS…my heart is here to HELP YOU ALIGN with our ONE TRUE GOD AND KING! I highly recommend STUDYING and DISCERNING Psalm 37…not just grab, “vs.4 and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart,” because even the verse before it is really DIFFICULT to live…”vs.3 TRUST [rely on and have confidence] in YESHUA and DO GOOD; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.” HMMM…do you see what I mean…REALLY? TRUST, DO GOOD, and DWELL and FEED on His faithfulness? Okay that’s a lot…but it’s NOT… because even vs.5 says, “COMMIT your way to YESHUA”. If we truly DESIRE to be JOYFILLED and LIVE HIS abundant life we need to READ!!! OH YES…READ for yourself any and many versions to help better understand HIS TRUE AND LIVING JOY, because YESHUA is all about ABUNDANCE FOR YOU and ME!! HIS ABUNDANT LIFE!!

So, all that being said, and prayerfully it can sink into your HEARTS by the power of Holy Spirit…HIS JOY is all I want!!! And each day HE shows me more and more of what brings me JOY…and literally rescues my heart!! I gave you a few samples above…but I will leave you as I walk my dogs, enjoy HIS beauty all around me, and chat with whomever I can…and last but not least THANK HIM for all of it even my breathing struggle…as I learned IMMENSELY through it! I will walk, and pick wild blackberries for a, “sweet treat,” and Pray for each of YOU!!!
