Hello Heart Partners!! I hope you are progressing POSITIVELY on your current journey!!! As everyday is BRAND NEW…we can expect NEW LESSONS, NEW CHALLENGES, and hopefully NEW JOY! I can honestly say…I am way over the NEW CHALLENGES, but prayerfully our FATHER has great NEW LESSONS as I face these CHALLENGES with HIM! One NEW CHALLENGE I wanted to share and open up a CONVERSATION about is the topic of WHO or WHAT we SEE in our MIRRORS?? Many of us go through seasons of not ENJOYING what we see in the MIRROR, but lately I believe YAHUAH has some new LESSONS for me. I hope this chat helps you in some way…

Of course it is normal with all of my life changes, to go through ups and downs, possibly feeling a bit out of sorts at times! But, this newest CHALLENGE I have distinct memories of traveling through LONG AGO…so my curiosity PEAKED when it re-emerged…and I must say with a VENGEANCE! Now, if any of you have a LOVE/HATE relationship with MIRRORS…I am here to tell you that YOU ARE FOR SURE NOT ALONE!!! Unfortunately, we make all kinds of excuses, or strategies to comfort our hearts as we eventually have to deal with the TRUTH! So, here we go…let’s BREAK the LIES of the MIRROR by going to the WORD!

First and FOREMOST we must acknowledge that the MIRROR does not have the LAST WORD…as it is truly only a REFLECTION, and our PERCEPTIONS of our REFLECTION can get skewed by our experiences in day to day life! So, we must go to the AUTHORITY of WHO CREATED us, and SEEK HIS WISDOM explicitly! The Word of YAHUAH is very clear that HE CREATED us in HIS IMAGE and that we are HIS CHILDREN! Genesis 1:27 Complete Jewish Bible “So God created humankind in HIS own IMAGE; in the image of YAHUAH HE created him: male and female HE created them.” Interestingly enough, in JAMES 3:9-10 (He is talking about our speech/tongues) “With it we bless our ADONAI and Father, and with it we curse people, who are MADE IN THE IMAGE OF YAHUAH!” 10 “From the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be.” OKAY, first correction, if I am made in the IMAGE of YAHUAH, do I have the right to CURSE the mirror of my perception? Well, unfortunately our sense of self is not always SECURE regarding how we are made and what we look like! WHAT HAPPENED?? In Psalm 139:13-16 The Message …it is revealed that we actually have a very special identity…”Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then most; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, YAHUAH—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! YOU know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” Okay, after I studied this passage of scripture in several translations…I must say my heart was convicted…”Why am I struggling with the IMAGE in the mirror? How dare I question WHAT and WHO the FATHER created! So, I dug more to see if I could get some answers and help myself…

So, here is the main problem…our IDENTITY has been stolen! Our YAHUAH given identity has been distorted by sin…and we see that way back in the garden when Adam and Eve believed the devil’s lies! The great news is…our identity can be saved by Yahuah and Yahusha…as the one who created us can also TRANSFORM US…2 Corinthians 5:17 CJB “Therefore, if anyone is united with Messiah/Yahusha, he is a NEW creation—-the old has passed; look, what has come is fresh and new! WOW!! Now, YAHUAH has my full attention, because I do know I am a new creation, but have believed LIES…I am in YAHUSHA and my identity is not in my past or present struggles! As I continued to seek and read…I landed in 1John 3:1-2 “See what love the FATHER has lavished on us in letting us be called YAHUAH’s children! The reason the world does not know us is that it has not known him. (This is where I had been stuck…in the world’s lies). “Dear friends, we are YAHUAH’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what we will become. We do know that when HE appears, we will be like HIM; because we will see HIM as HE really is.” There it is…my heart skipped a beat…because I realized why the distortions were in the mirror…I have not SEEN HIM as HE REALLY IS yet…so although I read HIS WORD…I am still vulnerable to MIS-PERCEPTIONS…and for this reason I WILL NEED TO TRUST HIM! As I continued to SOAK in HIS WORDS…I heard…I AM LOVED, I AM CHOSEN..YAHUSHA CHOSE ME…I am ADOPTED, and YAHUAH is not ASHAMED of me…

NOW I SEE…I have to CHOOSE to BELIEVE HIS WORDS and not images in the mirror! I can CHOOSE to SEE what HE SEES…who I am in HIM…ALL GLORY AND PRAISE TO THE FATHER!

I wish I could say that ALL IS WELL in my MIRROR…but that would be a lie…what I can say is that our FATHER has yet again helped me through a VERY HUMAN experience, and given me REFRESHED HOPE IN HIM! I pray this chat has spoken some truths to each of you, and my heart is here to love and support anyone who is living this struggle! I am attaching a song that is currently on repeat, as it has been a cup of cool water to my heart and soul!
